THUNDER BAY, ON (August 18, 2025) – ORIGIN is pleased to announce the appointment of Charmaine McCraw as the organization’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective August 18, 2025.

In this executive leadership role, Charmaine will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, lead cross-departmental alignment, and support strategic initiatives that advance ORIGIN’s mission of economic reconciliation and workforce empowerment.

Charmaine brings extensive experience in Indigenous engagement, program development, and operational leadership. Her work has consistently centered on building meaningful partnerships, strengthening service delivery systems, and creating pathways to employment that reflect the values, needs, and strengths of Indigenous communities.
